Same with L&L. it's in the contract but we have never been charged. We do keep the jeep relatively clean though. I think I remember it on the Cool Breeze contract also.Gigi wrote:St. John car rental has it posted in their vehicles but we have never been charged.

Denzyl Cline has a sand fee. It is a $150 fee, and they run a pre-authorization on your credit card for it when you pick up the car.
John and I rented from them a couple of years ago and they are the only place that has said something to us about sand being in the car when we returned it. We do make an effort to get the sand out of the cars, but without access to a vaccuum it's not going to be perfect. I am not sure if they ended up actually charging us the sand fee or not.

It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

This is great to hear since we're giving them a try this time.Jan&MikeVa wrote:We've always rented from Donald Schnell, don't know why.......but love their vehicles and service. We have never been charged a fee. Once we called them because the villa had no kind of vacuum that we could use. Their answer............NO PROBLEM!! Love them
