Post by EagleRayLover »

Augie and i decided that he would still write his long TR at the end of the trip (with pics) as I love it just as much as any one else, but i would do some live updates. Plane in early, car rental perfect,St Thomas drive was beautiful. New menu at High Tide is great - yummy food, even better new drinks!! gonna enjoy the 7:30 sunshine on the deck of Allesandra until snorkel time- SWEET!!!

If you are looking for eagle rays, We saw a PAIR last Friday between Waterlemon Cay and the rock entry at the far end of Lienster Bay. Maybe they are still in the general area. But the thing with eagle rays is that they find you, never vise-versa.

Sounds like a great start. Tell me more about High Tide. Where is it located and what type of atmosphere?

High Tide is right on the beach in Wharfside. We have always enjoyed the food there. The chicken parm is excellent and is a huge portion - enough for 2. They have installed a big screen tv so it is nice place to catch a game and enjoy the sunset.
