Is a birth certificate sufficient id for a 14 yr old?

I am taking my son, his wife and 14 yr old son to STJ in 2 weeks. The only form of id he has is a birth certificate. Will this be enough? We don't have time for a state id.

As long as your not going to the BVI's you should be fine
