Hi Ted,

My husband and I are staying at your place for our 25th anniversary in November. Since I found this thread, I'm dying to know, did you heat the pool?

I definitely would appreciate a heated pool, especially since I'm hearing it's pretty windy up there.

My son proposed to his wife at Into the Mystic last October, around Halloween. You might remember them, Kenny & Jessica?

I can't wait for our trip, but don't know what to expect as far as weather temps, ocean temps, and pool temps!

Can't wait! :D

How long would it take for the temp to rise in a pool to the preset amount after the heat switch is flipped on? 24 hours? More? Less?

We did stay in a villa with a non heated pool, in the springtime, and it was way too cold to swim in. My girls did go in the night we got there and they were very cold. I don't mind swimming in chilly ocean water, but a cold pool is just not appealing. I would pay a couple hundred extra to heat the pool. But not if the heat was turned on the day we got there, and took a couple of days to get warmed up.
