Wednesday. Our time on STJ is winding down, so we decided to spend the last couple of days doing / visiting / eating our FAVORITES.
We woke up at 7, and then got up at 8. Had breakfast at the cottage, and left around 10am.
Off to Francis we went.

Saw a ton of conch (as usual), and a school of about 30 squid! Love watching these guys!

This little guy was around me the whole time it seemed. Photo bomb!

We stayed at Francis for about 3 hours. We watched a HUGE boat "dock" between Francis and Maho. I think there was a post about this back in August...everyone was speculating as to who was on it!

To clear the air - it wasn't THIS forum member!

Around 1:30ish, we headed to Skinny's for a blue cheese and bacon burger with jalapenos. DELISH!!!! We enjoyed painkillers and beer and coconut swizzlers. Love it when you're asked if you'd like "one for the road." And the correct, and most polite response, is always to accept the offer!
To-go-beverage in hand, we ventured up to Reef Madness. I've heard fantastic stuff about this place, and wanted to check it out for myself. Well, as much "checking out" as one can do from one's jeep, that is. Any comments on RM? I'm thinking this may be our venue for next year's visit!!!
Afterwards, we headed to the Marketplace (gosh - looking back, we were there a LOT), and picked up money from the ATM, the paper, and another movie.
We drove by Deli Grotto for more tamarind balls, chocolate chip banana bread, and a chocolate marshmallow brownie....which was just okay. I'll totally get the crack bar from now on. (The tamarind balls were great, as always, per the husband, and the banana bread was rockin' as well.)
We were back at the cottage around 4pm, and we read the paper, played online, watched the movie, and Big Brother. We were asleep by 10.
Recurring theme? Up and out early (for the most part), back at the cottage early.
