Departure Day - Trip report

Post by Hawaii »

I was up very early this morning just so I could enjoy every second we had left on STJ. It was another gorgeous day and we hated to leave. We were all packed from the night before so we opened a bottle of champagne to enjoy on the deck - the kids had juice. I took lots more pictures of the view from our villa Casa Bueno but unfortunately for some odd reason I can't post them with the card. I think my computer is too slow for the card or it is an old card - who knows but you can not beat the view we had from Casa Bueno. We locked up and drove to STJ Car rental where my husband waited till they opened. The kids and I walked with the bags to get our tickets.

I told the kids to write a message in the sand and then I told them to wave at the spice cam as I had told my sister and parents to look on the webcam. They got a real kick out of seeing the kids on the spicecam. On the ferry we went and headed to STT where a smiling Rachel was waiting for us. When we come back to STJ we will pay the extra money to have Rachel. She is such a sweetheart and such a special person. This was a trip of a lifetime and we will never forget it. Until we see STJ again, we will cherish the memories we made and be grateful that we were lucky enough to experience such a beautiful place.

Welcome to the tribe, Hawaii! You are now an official St.Johnaholic! :D
Isn't it amazing how this place gets to you. Can't explain it, but I'm glad I'm hooked.
I enjoyed reading your TRs and looking at the pics. Thanks for sharing.
Friends, they go away then they re-appear...I believe there is Magic here.

enjoyed your reports....

i liked the view from the High Tide pic also....

wondering if a sunset view is important at the villa since not sure we would be at the villa at that time of day?? guess it depends on if you are eating dinner at the villa or out....

Really enjoyed your report. Champagne breakfast...that's an idea that I think I will steal for next time!
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
