Front and center here at Gallows. Going to play some board games, bake cookies, drink and watch the waves. Looks more like the Atlantic than Pillsbury sound. Also perusing FF ticket availability for Feb. :)

Hi forum peeps, checking in from Villa Andara on the East End. Arrived yesterday in gorgeous weather. Lots of howling wind and sideways rain all day but it is quite cozy. Reading books, watching movies. It's kinda like a day at sea on a cruise ship. Gonna take a really long shower after all this rain!
So glad our satellite internet is still hanging tough :)

Safe days to everyone on island. Same time as Earl last year. Some of us left just in time.

Way to be positive Goldendaze- you make it sound downright nice! Of course, being from Texas during this insanely hot and dry summer, a long rainy day on island sounds pretty preftect to me... again, with no damage

Today was a beater here in DFW. This drought is getting very serious. I'm making that webcam shot my screensaver!

Good morning from the soggy rock! Big wind and rain, whew that was a close call. Much more quiet this morning, no rain right now and much less wind but still very gray.
Still got tv, internet, and AC - generator turned on overnight and is on now, so I guess the power is out, I think it went out around 5 am. Thank goodness for my new best friend "genny".

Thank you all for your good wishes. I will post more if I find out anything. Let's hope we see some STJ Sun tomorrow!
