KC ZBB Gillette Stadium- Tailgating help

Post by Xislandgirl »

I have never been to the stadium and I have been told on Facebook that we should not park in the stadium lot for tailgating.
I receieved a few suggestions but I am looking for some detailed info because:
1. I am an obsessive planner
2. I would prefer to be near a bathroom
3. We are willing to walk but have someone with a small disability so more than 1/2 mile or so will be a stretch

Any help would be appreciated!

You could tailgate in the official lots, it will just take forever to get out. the times I've parked in the official lots, we have planned a post event tailgate or we go to a very late dinner at one of the Patriot place restaurants. Make sure everyone in your group has a ticket they won't let you in to the lot without a ticket for everyone in your car. ( I thought this concert was last night. When is it?).
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

hmmm their website seems to be okay with tailgating unless you want to have a bonfire or something...?

We have an hour and half drive home so we would prefer to not be in the stadium lots. It will be an already late night that we do not want to make later by sitting in traffic.

It is next Saturday and Sunday, we are only going Saturday

We were tailgating yesterday -New England Rev's game- My experience has always been that you will sit in traffic on route 1. We have found that the official lots are the best and at least they have ample porta potty's. We also have a 1.5 hour trip- post tail gate is better then sitting on route 1 for an hour then heading another 1.5 hours home. Hope you have a great time!!!!

X- We have never tailgated at the stadium and will be at the show as well. I have been told by a co-worker to park at "Foxboro Freight" and exiting the show will go much smoother?? That is our plan and hopefully it will work out OK. I don't know about the porta potty situation but I can certainly ask her.

Another option, you could take the concert train. If you park at Dedham Corporate Station you will be about 2 miles from the 95 exit so you can skip the gridlock on Route one. (I assume you are going home via 95?)

Here is the link with info:

Of course, if you want to set up a tailgate this won't work. No alcohol can be brought on the train. There are places to eat around the stadium though.

We got up there early and ended up at the Lafyette house. They allowed us to park early and hang out at the bar until 2.It worked out perfectly.

The concert was awesome! I know some said that kenny was the same old, but we LOVED it! The best part was the encore. SOOOOO many great songs.

So glad to hear it. I saw the advertisement for the Lafayette House, it looked like a pretty good deal. We ended up selling our tickets to a co worker and bailed on the concert. With the weather not on our side, we just didn't feel right leaving our 3 boys. I'm sure it was a great show!!
