Dicey Weather

Post by burgec »

Satellite image of Atlantic not looking too inviting for those of us hopefully inbound in the near term. Four tropical waves lined up headed to the Caribbean.

Waaay to early to tell - there is plenty of Sahara dust leaving as well which lowers the chance of anything developing. Many of these waves break apart before reaching us - fingers crossed.

I agree with Pia. We're on island now, so I've been following the stuff coming off Africa, and for the most part, even though it looks dangerous as it leaves the coast, it's been breaking up into pretty much a bunch of nothing as it moves Westward.

The source I check is:

Tis the season......you can drive yourself nuts watching the weather channel. Buy trip insurance and hope for the best.
