No they have not been ordered yet !!!! The windows are here but they are not hurricane windows we are ordering hurricane shutters (as you know from the blog) but they have not yet been ordered as we still are deciding between the manual (peni$
) type or having electric motors. We have ordered the hurricane doors but they have a 3-4 week lead time and then they need to be delivered via Tropical - wish us luck.

This is potentially looking more and more serious for the region - many of the model tracks have it pretty close to the VI in general. It is slow forming though and still quite a mess, so that is perhaps good news on the wind, but it appears it will be dumping a lot of rain wherever it ends up meandering.

Ditto!!silverheels wrote:I won't mind the rain as much when I am on island. Of course I'd rather have sun. Just don't want the storm to strand me in some airport.
We'll be at Charlotte...what is there to do there and which hotel should we get a hotel at? Not that we are going to need to do this!!!
