Oh Honey,

I'm definitely keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
I sincerely hope you get good results and also get to take your trip together as a family.
Soak up those precious times with the ones you love. They're rare and gone before you know it.
We're pulling for you.
Best wishes. 8)

This must truly be a frustrating time for you. Our thoughts and prayers, for the best outcome to make it to STJ, will be granted. As others have said, and from personal experience, STJ is a wonderfully healing place for stress and the like. Please keep us posted.

Prayers

It was a very busy weekend for DH( both of us) as his twin grandkids turned 1 yr with a family party on Sat and his newest grandson was Baptized today. He was very uncomfortable both days but we got through it. We have not discussed the problem with his kids as we did not want to take anything away from the festivities. Seems amazing how young people today are so into themselves that they didnt even notice his struggling! I think we will just wait to see what happens on Thursday before we say anything.
I did call my oldest son tonight and put him on notice that he may have to either join or lead the vacation. I know it is not something that he wants to do( who doesnt want to go to St John?- someone who lives in Fla and wants to be cool in Maine during his only 2 weeks off) as he was counting on hiking in Maine but he said he will go if necessary. Let me add candidly, my sister can often be a difficult person with both my sons and myself but her kids mean the world to me and I dont want to see them miss out. My DH is very even tempered and is a wonderful buffer for/between us, and this allows everyone to have a great time. When we initially planned the vacay I did ask my son if he wanted to come along and he said "you would have to pay me to go on vacay with her". Well, it looks as if I may just have to do that now.( LOL)
I am both frightened and angry, and just a nervous wreck. Think I will just have to do that "Jesus take the wheel" thing and continue to depend upon your outpouring of love, prayers and support.
Thanks again for listening..

Knolmom - I can hear the stress in your post and wish you some peace from all that is taking place. I will pray for you and your husband and also pray that those around you show some grace during this time.

Thinking of you and wishing for a positive outcome on Thursday!
