St. John Honeymoon Registry

Post by islandchef »

My fiance' and I were engaged on St. John in August and we are getting married on October 14th. For our honeymoon we are going to... you guessed it... ST JOHN!! Villa Sol Inclination for TEN DAYS!!! Me being a chef (and having already lived together for two years :? ) we have all the kitchen gadgets and housewares we could ever want so we wanted to something different for our registry. We came across this honeymoon registry site that allows you to create your own custom honeymoon experiences that people can "buy" for you. We thought it really unique and PERFECT four a St. John obsessed couple! Check out our site here...

If there are any other great St. John ideas you guys can come up that would be good for us to add to our registry please share!

Also there is a link to our engagement video on the main page if anyone didnt see it when I posted it back in September!

CHEERS!!!! :D :D

I love the idea of the honeymoon registry to STJ- what an awesome idea!! IF you like hiking at all, maybe adding the Reef Bay hike with boat pick up back to Cruz Bay. we did the hike round trip without the boat ride, but think it would have been a nice return Cruz Bay. We are actually on island 10/4-10/18- maybe we will see you and be able to buy you a congrats drink!! :D

Congratulations!

It looks like you have most things I would think of listed already. Maybe a family pass to Trunk Bay? Or private water/land taxi from the airport?

Or, since you are a chef yourself, maybe a private dinner in your villa from one of the island chefs?
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Best wishes, exciting time for you! Here's an odd but practical thought...know how at home you give people movie passes for a few months to a local theater??? What if you could give a six month ferry pass for the newlyweds? It's not an exciting gift but one that would definitely be used :)

I love your honeymoon registry. Am I out of touch? Is this a new thing that people are doing, or is it your unique idea? Either way, I love it. Don't really know what to add - it looks like you have thought of many great ideas.

I liked your registry. We were once invited to a 3rd wedding for a middle age couple who put up a similar registry. Most of the things were made up/funny things, so really you were just giving money. We contributed to a speedo & bikini. Trust me when I say that was a joke item. Cute idea, but I am sure some stick-in-the-muds will think it is not
" proper". I think you did a great job of giving a good choice of money levels & hey, no shipping charge!
