Pre-Vacation Depression Disorder.

Holy Cr@p, how am I going to get this all done!? We're up late getting ready to go. You wouldn't beleive me if I told you. It's rather stressful.... hehe, I'll be okay soon.

I haven't even left yet & I am feeling it already.

I think we all wait so long & plan for the special times away with our loved ones, that we don't want this special time to end.....

I am sitting here at work, thinking, please oh please help me make it to 1:00 so I can truly start my vacation afer I run around like a chicken with my head cut off doing the last minute things....

I agree with Rick G, I think the last few days before are stressful, thinking have I done this, I need to do this.....

Rick, can't wait to meet you & Christine at FLL. Hopefully our flight will get in on time & we don't have to run & catch our connection, but if we do, keep the beer cold on the plane as I am sure we will need one by then.

XIG and Mary Beth you are both very lucky ladies to have guys that plan vacations. I would be thrilled if DH planned anything!

His contribution to vacation prep goes something like this:
1. He will schedule vaca days w/work;
2. He says, "plan whatever you want";
3. I find a villa, and ask him to look, he says, "book whatever what you want";
4. He gets the suitcases down and says, "pack whatever you want";
5. He sets the alarm clock on wheels-up day.

OMG!! I am married to the same man! Glad I'm not alone . . .

Oh, Mary Beth, I had to plan my own surprise 40th to STJ last October! Go figure!

But in the end, we made it there & had a fabulous time!

And yes, our next trip is reserved with HIS whole family in August and he says, "When did this happen?"

So that is what I have had for the last 2 years since my trip to STJ in 2005...

Yep, got a real bad case of it. I knew I wanted to write something about my trip, and finally started but there's no way I'm going to be able to put into words what the week was like. I came home to the same old job, well make that 3 jobs, desk looks like something blew up on it, people fussing and complaining...I just want to go back! Thank heavens I know that in November the "Six on a Beach" trip will be taking place.

I get PVDD about half way through our trip...I actually get sad while I'm still on STJ because I know the trip is going to come to end and then I'll be at the farthest possible point from my next trip to STJ!
