STJ Grad Tour - June 2011 - Day 1

I am pretty challenged with posting pics. Trying to do this trip report day by day. Bear with me as I struggle through the pics. Some might have captions. some not. Calypso Cove, Fish Bay, 9 days. This was the budget trip. A lot of good things about the villa, a few challenging things. All, in all, if Anthony gets the Villa Review site up, I'll post a very positive (for the most part), diplomatic review.

Glad the Grads took the kayak out. Can't wait to hear how it went (any sharks?) and more about your stay!

Thanks, CG. I will do that next time. I just posted day 2 with about 12 pics and totally deleted it Tomorrow will be a new start!

GTGA, no sharks! Just a lot of brown bay about 4 feet deep all the way out, no fish, lots of surf. Not anything to get in. I was pretty disappointed in Fish Bay, thinking it would be the pretty caribbean blue. We saw a guy walk out a 1/4 mile into the bay to hop on a dingy, four feet of water all the way out!

Can't believe the water was brown! Certainly looks blue in my pics from up higher in Fish Bay.

Can't wait to hear more! Have never stayed on Fish Bay- friends looked there for a lot years ago, but never bought....
