Where the Heck is Maria Bluff?

Post by flip-flop »

I know I should know these things. I should not immediately go on island (oblivious) time when I hit STJ but in all my trips I never took note of where Maria Bluff is or how to get there. I know it is "5 minutes from Cruz Bay" - is it out toward Choc hole, toward the north shore, up centerline ???

Any help, guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

We've stayed on Maria Bluff twice--it is a good location with great views out over Pillsbury Sound. It is the first right turn after the Westin, onto Great Cruz Bay Road.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

There's a right turn after the westin? OMG I am so clueless. Before or after Jacobs Ladder?

We went all the way out to Reef Bay for one house and otherwise have stayed in Chocolate hole.

The sad part is I do most of the driving there. I swear my brain is going.

You go right up the hill after The Westin (opposite the dumpsters) and
make a right onto Great Cruz Bay Road, Stay to the right into Great Cruz Bay Estates and then at the fork, stay to the left. I think that takes you to Maria Bluff

We stayed in the neighborhood in February and it was great to be able to walk in the morning. We met lots of residents in during our walks.

Thanks -

Yes, we went for Hale Lani, but don't go until November. I promise lots of details after my trip, but am hoping that someone will go before me and provide some more info. I am sure it will be fine. Location is great, there is a great pool & view, and a/c. What more could a girl ask?

This trip is a little different for us as we are traveling with gramma and the kids. If we were going with other couples and wanting equalish accommodations I am not sure this house would cut it. We will probably only use the two upper bedrooms. There are no pics of the lower bedrooms, but I will check it all out when there.
