Best waterproof bag for keys, phone, c/c?

Post by melmd »

Need a waterproof bag.....

I am sorry if this question has been asked recently.

There are alot of choices out there and I am not sure which one to get. I would like the bag kind versus the hard box. I have seen the following choices; Pelican, Sealine, Trident, and Otterbox.

So folks, what do you use and what kind ya reccomend?

Thanks!

We got one of those hard side boxes from a dive shop. We put money, and Capn Dan's water resistant wallet in it with credit cards etc. We clipped the car keys to it securly (they wouldn't fit) and cliped it to my swim suit strap. It would tap my mask often, so I always knew it was there. It worked really well. As far as phone, we got a cheep go phone and left it in a zip loc bag in our beach bag.

Last year I got an Aquapac for our camera for our trip. It worked great. Just take care of it and rinse it off with fresh water when you're done with it for the day (the salt from the sea water will dry out the seals). http://www.aquapac.net/usastore/
