Any Philly/Jersey friends going to see KC 6/18?

Post by mahojim »

I realize that I'm getting a little old for the concert scene...
Anyway, with that in mind, anyone from the area catching him & Zac Brown at the Linc on the 18th?
Love to meet up & share a groovy drink & yummy grub.

Boy, I wish!
Had a chance for a ticket earlier, but it was for the field and these old legs can't stand that long (plus, trying to get to the bathrooms  ) At $145 I want to be able to sit once in a while and still be able to see what's going on.
But I'll be thinking of you and others I know who are going and hoping for good weather. Enjoy!
Friends, they go away then they re-appear...I believe there is Magic here.

No - not going to see KC - but don't say you're getting too old for the "concert scene!" I don't know how old you are- but you are clearly a whipper-snapper to me -I'm 52, hubby is 56 - and we are going to see Heart & Def Leppard @ the PNC next month - not that they're hardcore by any means- but KC - common... :-D
Peace,

Lisa

Bad news, I cannot make the concert on Saturday 6/18 due to a prior engagement.
Good news, take a look at my ticker. My flight leaves Philly International at 7:40am non-stop to STT on 6/18. I plan on being on the rock by 1:30pm. I will check on Kenny's house for him since he will be busy that night.

$145 a head? Before all the ticket "fees" are added in? Yikes.
Musicians, athletes, and Broadway producers should thank God everyday for the prices fans pay these days to see their concerts, games, and shows.

I'm totally looking forward to the show, just not the fighting & public urination by the fans in the lot tail-gating.
There was plenty of that last time...
That's all I'm sayin'...
