Croix Vista

Been thinking we go back to Catherineberg but Croix Vista looks interesting on the south side. Anyone have any intelligence on this spot. I love the North Shore views but these views look like they may be pretty awesome too.

We stayed in Skytop at Sol Inclination. The views were awesome and the drive was a bit longer but not as bone-jarring as to the lower Catherineberg villas such as Anole or Cinnamon Stones. Dont think that Croix Vista is as far up as Sol or South Shore Villa but our views extended past St Thomas almost to PR, all the way down the rolling hills and valleys to Ram's Head, and of course almost into Cruz Bay. Depending on the orientation of Croix Vista, you should have most of the same from some point on the property.
That said, I dont think we would stay that far out again. The ride is not only longer, but slower. From the northshore, once you get on Centerline, you are bookin'( St John's version of moving along). We have been back to the North Shore twice since then. The views are not as expansive, but we do love those north shore and Catherineberg views. We are trying Sago Palms this time.

We live year round below Croix Vista and we love it on the South shore. I am familiar with the villa and it is well appointed and very comfy. Fish Bay is a quiet community and you cannot see St Thomas from Croix Vista but in my mind that is a good thing. Enjoy wherever you stay! :D

We visited friends who live off Skytop, just before the last switchback before you reach Croix Vista. The views from their place were fantastic and the breezes were great.
However, the ride was quite far and a little steep and scary. Our friends love living there, but they don't have limited time on the island. I felt like I spent more time driving and could have spent that time sitting on the beach. Next time we are choosing to stay closer to the beaches.
Tickerless :(
