Rain "delay"

Here on island right now. It's been torrential raining for the last two days. It's trying to clear this morning, but according to the satellite shot, it looks like another day of mostly rain. Bummer....I'd give anything to sit on a beach in the clouds, in the mist, even in the drizzle at this point

Sorry to hear that, Tina. I'm sure the folks who live there are glad, however. They need rain badly.

I'm hoping that rain clears soon! I know the locals are loving it and it's much needed. Wishing you at least a few days of sunshine. We head down on Saturday and while we can handle one or two days of rain, I'm praying it doesn't torrential downpour the entire time!

Tina, I've been there before and feel your pain! It stinks when you look forward to STJ all year just to have rain. Last July we were there for what the locals said was the worst thunderstorm yet for the year...it was crazy...the loudest thunder I've ever heard, and I grew up in tornado country.

And a couple years ago it started to pour while we were snorkeling at Waterlemon...it was the neatest lightening my husband and I have ever seen.

One thing that we were able to do during the rain was hike...we stayed much cooler than we would have been if it was sunny
