Boutique Hotel

Post by leslieeliz »

Hi all! Just curious if anyone has stayed at the new boutique hotel in Cruz Bay. We're planning a last minute trip for mid-July, since we got washed out on our last visit in October. I've never seen so much rain! And I just didn't get my St. John fix.

We're on a tight budget, as I'm getting laid off at the end of the month....and hey, what better way to celebrate than a trip to STJ!

never stayed there, but don't forget to check last minute getaways with outfits like Carribeanvillas...

you might score a really good deal at cruz views (depending on how many people you have)...112 $ a night for 2 is AWESOME!...

Oh man....thanks for that site. I didn't know about it. Will check into it.

Also, quick question about the taxis. I've always rented a car, but we're going to try out the taxi thing this time. How do you get picked up from certain places? I know they are generally outside of Trunk and Cinnamon, but what about the other beaches. Do you have to call?

yah, you'd have to have a guy's number or something. I'd rent a car...even if you'd do it for a day or two....

We will be staying there one night before we go to the
villa.June 12. We can let you know how it is. I liked it because
it was right in town and you can walk to it and the
beach bar.

If you can get a taxi to take you to beaches other than Trunk or Cinnamon, you could probably make arrangements with him to come back and pick you up again at a certain time.

Do check around, there seem to be specials on many websites. Also not to be a downer, but you can get a lot of rain in july too- we were there last july and it poured for several days :(
You might be able to swing a deal somewhere last minute. Dont forget you can hike to solomon/honeymoon.
And Sorry about the job situation, but stj will make you happy!

The STJ Botique Hotel is surely one of the coolest places to stay - unless you find some$$ Great Deal elsewhere - you will be very surprised and happy there.

Thanks for the feedback. Let's hope it doesn't rain much. We booked the boutique hotel, as we don't want to rent a car this time. The continental breakfast is a bonus. I just cannot wait!
And the new happy hour food specials at JJ's look awesome.

Are any of the rooms (location, size) better?
