June 1 - STJ Bound
We agreed the night before that we would try to catch the noon car ferry to STJ after stopping for some provisions on STT like water, beer and liquor.
The trip from Morning Star to Red Hook was a breeze and we were on the ferry (backing in of course so we looked like we knew what we were doing). We arrived at the car ferry about 11:50 and before we knew it we were underway.
Our villa was scheduled to be ready at 1 p.m. but our house manager arranged for us to head up as soon as we arrived. Imagine our mutual shock and surprise when we learned that she is married to the brother of a friend of ours who lives in PA. Talk about a small world!
Time for a break as we have to prepare for our in villa massages! Still to come ... shopping at Star Fish and our first dinner with Chef Ted!
