closest beach/snorkel to Cruz Bay?

closest beach/snorkel to Cruz Bay?

we're staying at grande bay resort. what's the closest beach to snorkel at? is it within walking distance? thanks.

That would be Frank Bay.

Exiting Grande Bay, turn left, pass Gallows Point convenience store on your right, go down the hill. Frank Bay is at the bottom of the hill, across from Coconut Coast Studios. Fairly rocky entry.

Another option is Honeymoon and Solomons, it's maybe a 30 minute walk from Grande Bay. The trail starts behind the Park Service Visitor's Center across from Mongoose Junction.
I highly recommend getting a copy of Feet Fins and Four Wheel Drive by Pam Gaffin, it's a great source of information about every beach, what facilities are available, best places to snorkel, etc.
