Almost Packed

Almost there. It is amazing how long it takes to pack a back pack and cary on per person! Of course I fixed our toiletry bags with all the necessarys a week a go and put them somewhere and can not find them now. I will do up 2 more then I will find them. Can't find our underwater camera. I just can't spend several hundred on another and then find ours when we get back. I guess it will be disposables for that shot I just have to get. That really sucks, because I was hoping to get that fabulous shot of that eagle ray or octopus, or maybe even a nurse shark. I may spring for a good little underwater camera tomarrow. Who knows. Isn't it crazy how forum posts increase the closer you get to leaving?

I am the same way...Im so bad to put something somewhere and half the time cant remember where I put it..I have been putting things in 1 spot when I think of them and then as we get closer put them in the luggage..Do not worry...and esp. dont stress over it..it will all work out..
Woo hoo...time is getting close..I can see both our names on the whos on Island list...

I do that quite often. My usual spot to check is all the backpacks in the closets. Hope you find your camera and have a great time. We are heading down in July for our first trip.

Safe Travels to you both, all will work out! Hoping to meet up with you at one of the Beach Bar Gatherings! We are lucky enough (as are you) to be there for both the proposed dates (June 5th & June 12th)....And yes, I am trying to refrain from bouncing off the walls with excitement and trying very hard to not post every other hour, I do hope the girl is not driving her coworkers nutzo!....we are so close now! 3 day weekend, 4 days of work, and then up, up, and away!....We will not need the sun to shine on St John as my smile will be enough glow for all....just kidding, bring on the sunshine!

Working on keeping the stress down. I hope to find the camera, if not I might invest in a small one. I do love the under water pix. It is mostly done. I am so excited!!!!

I decided on 2 disposables. I hate to have to wait on developing and be really limited, but I know that we will one day find our good camera, and I don't want to pay $2-300 for a camera when we will, one day, want to up grade to a new and improved camera like the one we have. So watch out eagle rays and octopi, I may be low tech, but I am armed and ready for a possible photo opp!
