The big one is Sweet Plantains. Staying on the right side of the island for it this year!

You're missing out if you skip La Tapa. And we had a spectacular meal at Cactus on the Blue. As for Caneel, you can't beat the Equator - beautiful view and fantastic food. Ms. Lucy's is also a don't miss. The good news for us is, we still have yet to try La Plancha del Mar and several others on your list.

On my next trip I plan on trying those I have missed. Hopefully a few of them will be open.

One of my favorites is La Plancha ever since I tried it when they were in the marketplace. I think La Tapa has some of the best food on the island. Too bad the view wasn't better though when we went in March we sat next to Mario Batali and his family. That was interesting, I just wanted to order what he was having :D But the most awesome experience is Ted's supper club. We tried it for the first time in March; there is nothing better than spending all day snorkeling and hiking and coming back to your gorgeous villa with the spectacular view that you are paying for and having someone else cook and serve you a scrumptious meal and clean it all up...as a mom that is priceless! We are repeationg that experience in June and i really want to try Fatty Crab.

You guys are making me hungry....this "newbie" has never tried any of them...On my list for our 10 day trip are (in no particular order)....Zozo's, Cactus on the Blue, Vie's, Shipwreck Landing, Spyglass, Beach Bar, Woody's, Equator, Asolare, Deli Grotto, Morgan Mango, Skinny Legs (I am such a sucker for a Blue Burger), Joe's BBQ, .....oh dear, the girl is running out of days! Would it be anal of me to have a spreadsheet, that lists the places I want to eat, with their location, phone number, type of food they serve, cost, etc?
