Another fan of allrecipes.com! I look at it all the time for inspiration, and sometimes just plug in ingredients I have on hand to figure out what's for dinner tonight :)

Memorial Day: nothing much...relaxing and grilling. It should be a beautiful weekend for boating.

I have to confess that I don't like Martha's Vineyard. We rented a house there once and it was away from the beach but had beach access via a key to a gate to a long dirt road that eventually ended at a place where you could walk to the beach. The gate was obnoxious enough, but worst of all were the people that approached us on the beach and demanded to see our gate key!
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Memorial day.....hanging out, grilling, playing on the boat! Anybody ever get to Alexandria Bay, NY area, 1000 islands? Beautiful area...not warm, but beautiful. We are lucky if the water gets to 60 degrees in August!

Kg i didnt know all recipes had that option for putting in what you have Too cool!

Becky. Sounds like you were on Nantucket! lol.

Ski. I've never heard if it. Sounds nice. 60 degrees tho! Ouch. I only go in the water if I can see the bottom. Unusual around the cape. We saw the Great White shark in Chatham years back so I'm all set! Also, with all recipes you can estimate how many cocktails you will need and it will change up the amounts for you.

Come 5-ish pm today, I will be drinking a lime in da coconut!

It is HOT in PA today. We are headed to our cottage for the weekend. If it stays hot, we will be floating in the creek and riding bikes. I think we will finish the garden on Monday.

Here's a good rum punch recipe for a crowd:

1 c. Bacardi 151
1/2 c. Myers dark
1/4 c. coconut rum
2 1/2 c. pineapple juice
2 1/2 c. oj
1/4 c. lime juice
3 T. grenadine

Mix, chill. Serve with freshly grated nutmeg on top. I have winged it with whatever rums I have and it is always good.

Now I want one! Instead, I made a green tea margarita: tequila, cointreau, lime juice and brewed citrus green tea. Probably a horrible waste of Teavana tea but so good!!
