Hands down my favorite of what's available -"comparable bedrooms with baths ensuite, furnished with exotic teak and mahogany pieces from throughout the tropical world. The accompanying baths are spacious and attractive, with tumbled marble accents and showers that open to the sea but preserve your privacy."
Cocotier was a hit with our group in November. Lots of room to entertain. It does not get sun until at 9:30AM. I put a review with a photo walkthrough in the forum review section.

No, it is in Virgin Grand Estates off of Gift Hill Road. There is supposedly a way to get there through the Westin compound...

Another house I really like is Jazz Villa through Caribbean Villas. One downside is that one of the rooms on the lower level has to walk up external stairs to get to the main level. Jazz Villa is right past Chocolate Hole.

Both of these houses have pools on the same level as the kitchen.

Hi Waterguy!

In November, we are staying at South Shore Villa, it is high over Fish Bay. We drove out to it while on island recently, it's only about 15 out of Cruz Bay. SSV is available from Seaview Homes. (extremely reasonable for 4 couples) http://seaviewhomes.com/south-shore-villa.htm

Another villa we considered was White Cottage, also on Fish Bay, but not as high up and a much easier drive. It is next to Miles Away, where we've stayed previously. You can rent WC from Destination St John and they will discount if you've rented from them previously.

We just went through this search and rented Indigo through Destination St. John---new house overlooking Great Cruz Bay. Haven't seen it, but has received good reviews.

Rendezvous Villa on south shore looks nice (we stayed next door at Monte Bay). So does White Cottage.

Happy hunting!

Sol Inclination is another new 4BR that looks pretty great, but a little further out---just slightly over your stated budget:
