iScream (next to Joe's Rum Hut) is cash only.

And remember, your waitstaff ALWAYS appreciate tips in cash! Some employers, stateside and on the island, play games with cc tips.

The weather is FINALLY clearing up. Starting week 2!

If you do get out to places that take Credit Cards please remember to tip your server in cash if you want them to receive the whole amount and in a timely manner - many restaurants deduct the credit card service charge and /or hold the credit card tips until the next weeks paycheck. Both practices are legal and gaining popularity.
One of the reasons many restaurants are cash only is the service charge that the credit card companies is increasing over time and losing 2-5 % is squeezing the profitability - so in many cases they also charge the server that percentage on the tipped amount to spread the pain.
