We are exactly 48 hours from our departure and we can hardly stand the wait! I keep reminding myself that the anticipation is half the fun, but am having an extremely hard time with the wait this year. Of course, we are already packed. What do you all do in these last two days to make them bearable??? And what's the first thing you do when you get there???
Hey J & M-we are now less than 48 hours as well and we are so excited. The weather is not cooperating , but what the heck...Hopefully we will meet you while we are there....Here's to leaving Georgia behind for a while!

Actually we always arrive on a Saturday, usually at the villa on Ajax by 2:30, we have a tradition of heading for a swim at trunk right away. It's usually 3:30 by the time we get there, everyone is heading home and it gets pretty empty quickly. Then we change in the parking lot and head to rhumblines for dinner, then do a food shopping run in town before heading back to the villa.
So oh yeah, back to your exact question, we have specific things we do on the first day, every year!
In the last couple of days, we revisit FF&4WD and St. John: OTBP and start talking about what things we'd like to do this trip :O) Those are fun talks that pass the time!
I usually go crazy in the last 48 hours trying to get everything done that I procrastinated on. Mainly because I've spent too much time on the computer.
Love the idea of heading to Trunk...we enjoy it when it is not overly crowded and that sounds like a plan. We may see u there
Why is my ticker not showing up??? This is the best day...only ONE day left
