First Time Stay in Coral Bay TR 4/25-5/2 Part 1
Well after a long N.E winter is was time for our first STJ trip in April as we normally visit at the end of October. Not only was it special being our first time at this time of year but also our first time staying in Coral Bay. The previous four visits were all on the south side of the island in the Chocolate hole area and were all awesome trips in beautiful villas, but as most of the forum members will agree if you can pull it off twice a year it would be much better! So we decided to go with a more affordable villa in The Bay House. Travel day was much better than in October mainly due to a direct flight out of Logan and the ability to make the 3pm ferry out of RH. At the dock we were met by Nancy our greeter and she connected us with Kurt from L & L, BTW both very nice people and we were off to the Bay House much to our pleasure the Bay House did not dissappoint the past villas had lets call it more "bling" but this villa being alot more conservative seemed much more "homier" with a great panoramic view.

The views also are great.

So after getting situated we took a short trip to Lily"s market to get some supplies and then relax on the deck listen to the music coming from Aqua Bistro below and just "soak up" the beautiful mystique of the island. Notice the blue villa above Lily's that is the Bay House so you can see it is very easy to access most of the venues without needing to drive but I must say the walk down is alot easier than the walk up especially after a few "painkillers"

Monday morning we awoke to one of several beautiful sunrises.

So of course first lunch had to be a hamburger from skinny's then just kicked back and enjoyed the pool before heading over to cases by the sea to see Innervisions.

Sorry picture is kind of dark but even though it rained a little bit that night a great time was had by all.

Tuesday took us to Mongoose for breakfast at the Deli Grotto, excellent as usual! then some shopping for the wife. Later on that afternoon we had arranged a meet & greet with forum member (Beth Cruz) otherwise known as Jean & Bob at the Aqua Bistro. We spent the next couple of hours socializing and at the end of the day really enjoyed our time together, something this forum generates and for that, Anthony thank you very much for creating this wonderful family of friends and acquaintances. More to come.

Nice, John - welcome to "the other side"!
Judging from our tickers, it looks like we'll just miss you guys this fall - we're having to travel a little earlier in the month than we have been.
Innervisions. Damn American Airlines...
One day... (sigh)
Looking forward to hearing more about your trip!

Nic feel free to PM me if you have any questions regarding The Bay House, the location is a huge plus and the villa is very comfortable. Watching the sailboats come in and out of the bay is also a very relaxing benefit from the wrap around deck.Nic in KC wrote:Gorgeous pictures! I'm going to need to check out Bay House because I love that location! Thanks for writing a report!
Yep, that's the one; nice place, pool, great price and views; pm me if you have any questions. I think I posted a review of it before.mbw1024 wrote:is this the one with blue shutters?
