Day 7: Vie's Beach, Skinny Legs and a Quiet Night

Loving the reports. It is being so helpful for our first upcoming trip. I love, love the pictures of your two kids sleeping together. We have a 13 year old son and 10 year old daughter and that just does not work anymore but brings back memories. Her brother still lets her sleep on the top bunk occasionally. On Christmas Eve our daughter sleeps on the top bunk in her brothers room - very cute - enjoy these moments. Thanks again for the trip reports they are getting me thru till we go in July.

On this trip, I took notice of those with littler kids...kind of longing for those days. But the ones that really got me were the teens. I'd look at my little guy burying himself in the sand and then glance down the beach and see a teen kid. I just couldn't help but think, in a BLINK of an eye, he's going to be 13 or 25!


I have loved every age, but they were soooooo enjoyable on this trip. The perfect blend of independent and still liking their parents!
