Where did you see the turtles and conch and starfish at Maho? We always go to the far left (left if you're looking at Maho from the road).

We normally see the stars and turtles to the right and the really big turtle has been in the center.

Awesome footage, thanks for sharing...btw, curious to know how you got to Lameshur and Europa. I know where they are on the island, but the only ways I know to get to them is either to cut over from the Reef Bay trail by foot or drive the right side of Coral Bay past Salt Pond to where the road turns to dirt.

On the map, it looks like Rte 107 actually connects back up to Centerline, but I didn't know if that road was drivable.

Thanks.

How to get to Lameshur bay for "54b"

Post by deejayjay »

Hwy 107 does contine on to Lameshur. The pavement does end. There is pavement for some steep hills and a few tight corners. The road is very rough, but easy to do with all the vehicles we have rented on St. John. I have never put my vehicle in 4WD for this road. I go very slow.

The road is maintained for VIERS and the rangers house. HWY 107 between Lameshur and Mount Bordeaux is really Mt. bordeaux Trail. It is a wonderful trail with a great veiw of Lameshur bay.
