Post by surfnh »

Well our BVI trip got cancelled due to high wind and stormy seas....we'll try again Friday!

Here's a panoramic of Maho and Francis, taken again with the Olympus underwater camera

And here's another late day shot of Trunk taken with the Nikon

Very nice photos. I think we have similar cameras. Which model underwater Olympus and which Nikon do you have?

My Olympus is the stylus tough 8010, our 2nd stylus tough. I've got some opinions on these cameras, i'll add to the other underwater camera post when I get away from my iPhone. My wife's nikon is a D80, nice machine. Newest model is called D7000.

My Olympus is the Stylus 550WP. The more I learn about how to use it, the better I like it. It is becoming my every day point and shoot camera.

My Nikon is also D80. I've had it almost 3 years. Very pleased with it.

Actually there was a small wedding occurring and we got a few shots of it but didn't have the really good zoom lens on. If the wedding party is on the forum and would like some long distance shots from above when she said "I do" just private email me.

Beautiful photos! The water at Trunk looks so calm.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Actually high wind advisory yesterday, had to cancel the BVI trip till Friday! We stayed away from exposed spots, went to salt pond in morning and Francis in evening.

Ok my Frau is yelling at me to get off this thing, son wants to windsurf this afternoon, we're on our way to cinnamon.
