Which restaurant?

Post by Hawaii »

Hi - I have a couple of restaurants picked out for our son who will turn 14 on STJ for our first visit in July. So far, Shipwreck Landing, Miss Lucy's, Waterfront Bistro or any other ideas would be welcome. We are staying on Bordeaux Mountain so Cruz or Coral Bay is fine. Thanks so much!

I checked out the menu for Waterfront Bistro during our last two trips. For me, it was too much like home - dishes that were very similar to restaurants we visit during our "real" life. That may not turn other people off.

We always enjoyed our meals at the Shipwreck.

We did Zozo's at the bar for sunset for our special meal, but really, the food at Shipwreck was fabulous too.

He's 14, take him to Woody's or maybe Castaways upstairs if they are open.

I second Zozos at sunset. Asolare is also great for a special event. I celebrated a birthday there several years ago (not my 14th!), and they served up a special dessert for us.

Thanks everyone - Great ideas so far.

Toni - Our son will eat anything. He loves food. We made the mistake of taking the kids to Maine when he was 5 and from then on it was no more kids menu. We also have a 10 year old daughter who still likes kid food but as long as they have pasta she is good to go.
