Best day of the week to visit JVD

In your opinion, what is the best day of the week to visit JVD? Cruise ships are not great, but the Ritz Carlton booze cruise is awful. I think it was a Friday on my last trip, that the Ritz Carlton catamaran basically landed on the beach at Ivans. We have four newbies this trip, so I would like to choose a good day if possible. Thanks in advance!

Don't know about which day is the best, but I will say to avoid Sunday's if possible. Seems like every local escapes to there then. Way too crowded for us!

If you're just doing the typical JVD itinerary (there and back to STJ in one day) - stop by Foxy's for lunch or a beer, shop along the main road in Great Harbour, then head over to White Bay to hit up Soggy's - then I concur with msgcolleen, any day is great on JVD. Every day is like a holiday over there.

If you interested in going over for Foxy's famous BBQ Feast, then you'll want to go on Friday or Saturday.
