Please vote! Trip report format and Photo hosting
I did make notes and after I take a nap I will try and get started.
I am assuming that most people prefer day by day reports. I do have som summary notes that I will post at the end.
Where should I dump my pictures? I always send them to Shutterfly since it is the only site my mother can seem to navigate but I am wondering where else I just upload them.

First of all, welcome back. Try this site. I find it really easy for multiple postings.

I prefer day-by-day reports, but will accept whatever is easiest for you! I use Photobucket for photos and the Flock Photobucket edition for uploading large numbers of pictures. The main reason I use Photobucket is how easy it is to add pictures to forum posts. There are lots of choices and many of them are very easy to use.

I like day to day reports with pictures.
I liked RonL's reports and Waterguys. I like everyone's, but it easier to read when it isn't all one big paragraph.
I have used photobucket and webshots both.

Whatever works best for you X!
I've had online photo almums on shutterfly, dotphoto, webshots, and yahoo! photos.
It seems like the ones I've seen lately on flickr have worked pretty well.
No biggie - I'm sure we'll all love to see them no matter where/how you store them.
Did you get to 0?

When it come to trip report styles, I tend to like the "USA Today" bullet point approach. (As an aside, I hate that paper) But, they did hit on something...we have short attention spans.
I gravitate towards the trip reports that break things down by category...like, beaches, bars, eating out, etc.
I tend to skim through the travel day triffles.
Little details, when well placed, are great. For instance, when having chowder and a ceaser salad at the rear bar at the Lime Inn, have you ever watched the staff get booze from the "storeroom." They come through the freakin' window!
Little details are cool. As someone else mentioned, paragraphs also are pretty cool.
I dunno...I'm no Ernest Fitzgerald.

I am not too up on the photo posting/hosting aspect, but with regard to the format - I must have ADD, am a somewhat slow reader and have limited time here - so, like Pete, I prefer the bullet approach. No offense to anyone, but I am not too interested in anyone's limo or plane being late with times, etc. and things that don't pertain to the actual review of the beaches, villas, restaurants, hikes, etc. I know some people enjoy reading all of those details - not me. I do LOVE lots of pictures though!
ENJOY!

ENJOY!
