Just curious. I remember on past trips to the islands when gas was $4.00 a gallon and thinking "thank goodness I don't have to pay those prices everyday." Sigh.

Still prices that you wouldn't want to pay everyday at home. Of course I say that now about the prices that I do pay at home...

When we left home on our most recent trip, our local gas station was selling gas in the $3.50 - $3.60 range, and at the gas station on St. John it was just a tad over $4.00.

There is a refinery on ST. Croix which is probably why the prices aren't worse.
Let us live so that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry.
