Villa for 2

Working on a return trip to SJ in latter half of June but our first choices for a studio and a few villas we know something about are not available after the 21st.

We are trying to plan a longer stay if possible so any deals we might be able to land will further that possibility.

Best option is walking distance to Cruz Bay but not required.

All suggestions welcome...

Check out Harborview or Captains View with STJ Properties.

Harborview is basic but has everything you need.
Captains View is a little bigger and nicer.

They are both located in the same property, one upstairs and one downstairs with a long term renter on the property as well. They are priced well for having such an amazing view and being so close to town.
It can be a little loud at night, but putting on the AC took care of that for sleeping.

Casa Blanca?

Walking distance w/a pool (past Gallows and to the left). Sits above Blue Marlin which would be another choice. It was pretty tired when we were there but I thought I read that they were fixing it up. PM me if you have any questions about it.

A friend of mines daughter and husband stayed at Blue Bitch. They absolutely loved it with access down to the water for a little snorkeling.

I believe it's walking distance to Cruz Bay.

The pictures were really beautiful.

I believe Bluebitch is on Contant Point and would be quite a bit much for a walk.

As of a few weeks ago it was still under construction. We stayed there in 2005 and have always wished they would fix it up because it could be great. It's been under construction since last July and when I recently asked Caribe Havens when it would be done they did not know.

Have you thought about Coconut Coast condos? Not exactly like having a villa to yourself, but so convenient and very livable.

Have you checked out some of the places Ruth recommends on the St John Spice page? I believe some are out by Frank Bay and some others are closer to the Westin (I think these are the same apartments from "Desiring Paradise")

I just checked Star Villas that Ruth recommended - they don't post availability but they do have a studio w/in walking distance to Cruz Bay at $675 wk.
