5.1 Eartquake last night

Post by Tina »

Been here five days and our last night got to experience this. Woke me up at 12:30 AM. Building shaking and strange noises. Total. Of nine tremors per earthquake tracking site. http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/ ... hp#details

Wow - where are/were you staying?

WOW...it must have rocked me to sleep here in STX! Missed it completely and we're only 40 miles from STT & STJ.

I felt one there a few years ago, 2007 I think? It woke me up around 8 o'clock on a Sunday morning.

I have always said that my husband could sleep through a tornado and while fortunately we haven't tested that theory yet, we did discover that he will in fact sleep through an earthquake.
Let us live so that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry.

VI gets well over 200 per year, I forget the number, but it's very high and they are minor! We do usually feel only a few of them per year.
