spice cam right now, water color?

spice cam right now, water color?

Is it just the lighting/storminess, etc or what...the water looks really wierd right now?? Almost "oily"

Thanks...I watch the cam all the time..and have seen rainy days..but haven't seen the water look like that..thanks for the clarification...
Why is it like that there..but the water at Jost is the same color as it usually is?

I wouldn't be surprised if the park construction is causing a bit more runoff than usual. You can see the pipe opening the stormwater is coming out of right there on the dock near the bottom of the frame. From what I've seen, whenever there is a lot of rain the water turns brown like that.

YEA RAIN! Sorry for those on island right now, but I know the island has really needed some rain. Good day to sit at the BB and enjoy a cocktail ;-)

Yes indeed! It poured 4 inches of grey slush on Cape Ann today! UGH!
