Nurse sharks
After packing off daughter & son-in-law who finally got a flight into Miami, we took the short drive to Hawksnest for a lounge and snorkel.
We where returning to the beach after a so-so snorkel when we see a porgy go booking by faster than we have become accustomed to seeing them move. Right behind it where two nurse sharks in chase. Faster than we're accustomed to seeing them move since when we see them they are usually sleeping.
Here is a picture of the last shark in the chase. It is the smaller of the two. Sorry I couldn't get the whole thing in a shot. Just didn't think fast enough to get the camera turned on and zoomed. Also I didn't have the software on my wife's lap top to color correct it.
Have any of you see behavior like this before?
