I think what was meant was that arriving is always easier than leaving paradise.

If you want Rachel to pick you up, you'll want to make advance arrangements.

Yeah, dreamin. That's my spot. I expect it to be vacant every time I go there!

The flight/taxi/ferry might be a pita but I see tend to look at the end game. That taxi ride with 6 - 8 - 10 other people can be a stresser for those who don't see it as the ride to a week of sun, sand surf and most of all relaxation. I have found that the ride goes soooo much quicker if you engage the other folks riding with you, all headed to MY happy place. On an average trip to Red Hook I either find out something about StJ that I did not know or share a bit of what I know. Last trip we met a newlywed couple headed to their honeymoon never having been to St. John. We ran into them at Denis (a beach I suggested to them and they loved it) The ride back is usually quieter and a bit somber. We are all headed back to the regular hum drum of our everyday lives. I miss friends and family but wish I could miss them for at least another week or so.

p.s. Great shot of one of my favorite beaches RP

Agree...as soon as you land grab a rum punch or two...the cab ride you dread will now be an adventure you enjoy :D
