hmmmmmm.....tricky one. Let's think outside of the box. You are in FL right? How about flying to Atlanta and connecting there? Not exactly direct or helpful...but is it even an option? When I try to book out of desperation.....I even contemplate flights that have me connecting in Dallas...and I live in Boston! ha ha.....but if it gets me somewhere earlier than losing a day....I try it. So the problem is that you can't fly from FL to SJU??? to connect to STT? What about something crazy like FL to Atlanta to STT?
***excuse my ignorance if this is crazy and totally not an option! *** just thinking out loud!

Tomorrow... jet blue from MCO to SJU one way $202 per person = $676
6:30 to 9:30 AM flight 741

maybe AA can get you to STT ???? And bring you back?

Actually it gets in SJU at 9:06 and AA has a flight to STT at 9:50... flight 4866, tight but might be possible with carry ons.

We've actually flown from MCO to ATL to STT before. Problem is the airline we booked doesn't fly that route, so we'd be totally at the mercy of last minute airfare, if we could even find a seat...but I think I'll check anyway...

Augie - I hope you get it all straightened out and are able to get to STJ on time. This July will be our first visit and hoping our Continental non-stop stays the same. I checked last night and the time coming home did change but only by 20 minutes still you would think they would notify you. Good luck!

Oh my gosh we are on that same flight for Monday...it still shows up as being on schedule but I imagine if they are going to cancel they will wait to the last minute so I will keep checking. Best of luck to all of us and keep us posted! Safe (and hopefully on time) travels to you and hope to see you on STJ sometime this week!

I went and tried to book every rate available, and one by one they went unavailable until it told me no flights.

So far I've been on the phone with three different agents, and none have been able to get me from anywhere in Florida to STT.

I can book a flight on US Air that leaves Orlando at 6:30AM and has a connection in Philadelphia for more than twice what we paid AA...

Bev - to answer your question- who knows if we could even get a car on STJ during peak season with such short notice. so if anyone has suggestions of what to do with our car barge dilemma for flipping Monday- that would be dandy too=- because right now as it stands. we take the people ferry over to STJ leaving the car somewhere in STT and then one or all go back on Tuesday and get the damn jeep!! ( I need RUM... In ST JOHN!!!)

I do believe that last car ferry is at 7pm but you must call Boyson to tell them you need to be on it. They bring the barge back t STJ so it is ready early am.
