Don't want to rub it in or anything, but we leave a week from tomorrow!!! So excited!! All 4 of us are new to the Island (unless you count a short day trip we took from a cruise to STT?)
As much as I want to be there, I'm afraid I'm enjoying the planning even more. Make sense?? I've had my villa booked for a while now (not as long as some of the other posters here!), but I still look all the time as if I'm in need of a place to stay...maybe I'm in the planning stages for my next trip already and don't even realize??!!!
Coming back to reality after our week vacation is going to be sooo difficult. Can't wait to post a report about my trip to all you loyal STJ lovers out there. I know I'm going to love it as much as you say I will.

8 days for you....I'm so jealous! I originally started this post at 15 weeks, and we are now down to 88 days. Not as good as your countdown, but it's getting there!
Totally makes sense about looking at new villas. I have a great place booked for June, but look at other places for the next trip. Enjoy your trip and please post a trip report!!

10 weeks 3 days... I agree that getting ready is part of the excitement. Kinda like getting ready for the prom (ok I am the girl part of the team) This is a year of firsts. We are doing all the stuff for this trip ourselves (thanks Greyhoundmom, for all your work on past trips! 
), and will miss our 3 time companions, but we are really excited about new firsts! Trying stuff on our own, trying out Cruz Views (future afordability), Lovango Beach Cottage!!! (what can I say!) I am excited! But a little nervous at the same time, and of course apprehension is a little like forplay.

June 15 is our touch down day and 9 days on the rock. Sixth trip, this time with good friends and high school grad grandaughter and best friend. This trip is all about the grads and before college chill-ax. Fish Bay for us this year. We have done it all with son, daughter, grandaughter, Capt. Dan and Ruby several times, bringing the grad back for her second trip with best friend. Looking forward to the two young ones to keep us entertained! Bringing good friends back for their second trip. I don't really get excited until about a week out. When feet down on Cruz Bay dock, I'm home. Health issue this year makes this trip all the more precious. Day 19 of radiation, wondering how in the heck to keep the sun off the chest area, guess my rash guard will be doing double duty this summer! I will say knowing I have a trip to look forward to means so much!
