Vacation is almost over

Sorry, but I did some extensive reaserch on this topic and found that the ratio of actual Vaction Time on STJ versus the amount of time Planning, dreaming and surfing the sites realated to the Islands is about 240 hours vs 8520 hours ...so I have an ongoing joke with the kids that says" Vaction is almost Over"...even on day #1.

I think more than half the experince resides in the mind...DUH

I know what you mean, though. I'm not sure who said it on a different thread, but there was a comment regarding how one gets jealous of other peoples tickers for soon come vaca's even up 'til the day of their own vacation! (California girl, maybe...?)
It's a sickness, indeed.
Sure wish our paths were crossing on island this Spring, maybe next time...

Dave, you just crack me up with that calculation! Let's look at it this way...time on St. John is so well spent (and well earned) that it should get ten times the value of the planning time...that changes the ratio to look a little better at least!
