Favorite restroom in Cruz Bay

Post by Pete (Mr. Marcia) »

No, I'm serious. For those of us who have been out on the "town" in Cruz Bay, we know that all restrooms are not created equally. On one end of the spectrum, there is the urine soaked vault that the Beach Bar calls a restroom. (I wonder what they are using to hold the key these days? We've been through the spoon, the paint roller and a non-descript piece of wood.)

What's your favorite restroom? As is custom, I'll go first to get things started. I vote for the either of the restrooms at the Stone Terrace.

Guys...lest you laugh...finding a good restroom for your lady will turn her into a steaming temptress...I kid you not.

At the end of March the Beach Bar key was on a large metal spoon.

Amy seemed to enjoy the restroom under the Tap Room a Mongoose. She visited it two or three times

This is a much better topic than the booze one. But they are connected. The Tap Room wasn't open last June. So I am looking forward going there this year and using the bathroom. The rest room I use most frequently is the one in the parking lot behind Mongoose Junction. There is never a wait.

I follow the spoon! (Monty Python reference) Well, not my favorite bathroom but a fine key fixture!

There's always Mooie's.

Ever use the one at Cafe Roma (downstairs)?..It makes the beach bar look like the Westin!!(of course I was slightly plowed at this point but who's counting!)
I'd rather be in the boat with a drink on the rocks than in the drink with a boat on the rocks

Well the Beach Bar one is definitely NOT my favorite, but I admit to having actually waited in line there......!

Try to sneak in the one up by the Balcony - it's much cleaner and nicer smelling!

Finding a restroom in STJ has always been a challenge! Out of town is even more of a challenge!

My vote is for "out" of Cruz Bay - if it is night and not too many stars out - THE BUSHES!

My vote for "in" Cruz Bay - Mooie's - no frills - always clean - except during The Fourth of July Celebration...

There have been some really awfull facilities in STJ and STT that tend to creep up in my nightmares ever so often, especially during water shortage periods!

Pete (Mr. Marcia) I just love your humor on this message board!

I've used the "public" one at Mongoose - key required, though I can't remember where I got the key - and it was pretty clean.

I think this is a different issue for men and women. I mean, guys, you have a built in biological advantage when it comes to public restrooms. We girls have to make contact. That said, I will hold it until I rupture to avoid having to use a public bathroom. If I'm forced, I'll take what I can get. I haven't yet found a restroom in Cruz Bay that I would write home about.....

Yes, that one is pretty clean. I think the key (with the big ring on it) is hanging on the wall right outside. They probably take the key in at night.

I vote for Mongoose! When you live on a boat, it's nice to have a land pee, where you don't have to pump to flush!
