Eating out
The only place that really cares in my experience is Caneel. They have a "dress code."
Everywhere else nice is pretty laid back IMHO.
Hubby usually brings a Tommy Bahama shirt for nice dinners out, but the last couple of visits we've sworn off the fancy places-- just feels like too much trouble and have opted for much more casual fare instead.
The nice places are good and the food is great, but I prefer to spend my $$$ on jewelry

*Another fine scatterbrained production

We actually eat out every night in St. John. As far as my husband goes, jacket and tie never get packed and certainly aren't needed. Even at the Equator at Caneel, my husband has worn slacks and a polo. That's about as dressy as we get. You'll love Zozo's at the bar. It's our favorite! You'll be well taken care of.
