Birthday/Anniversary Dinner

Post by CantWait4STJ »

We'll be celebrating my husband's birthday and also our anniversary on March 27th. Any suggestions for a really nice restaurant with a great view? Do I need to make a reservation before we even arrive on the island?

One more quick question... how do I enable this so I can reply to messages? When I tried earlier, it says I cannot do a whole bunch of things. (Totally new to this forum!)

Thanks guys!!

My pick would be Zozo's.
I would call before you arrive on island, book a table or 2 seats at the bar for sunset and tell them you are celebrating a special occasion.
It is our go to special occasion spot

Waterfront Bistro - and recommend the poach Caribbean lobster tail with a nice bottle of champagne.

OK, so Zozo's is closed on Sundays... is everyone in agreement with Waterfront Bistro then for a nice celebratory dinner? Are nice shorts and a golf shirt ok for the guys? Thanks again for your suggestions!

Be aware that local reggae band Innervisions is scheduled to play at The Beach Bar the evening of the 27th. Personally I am excited about that, but that may have an influence on the atmosphere everywhere close to the Wharfside complex, in case you are looking for a quiet and peaceful celebratory dinner.

We were on St. John in February and had a fabulous meal at Asolare. The view is incredible and we thought the food and service was very good. If you decide to go there, call a day or so before and request a table by the rail. We arrived around 6:00 and the sunset was gorgeous. Best wishes!
