toni has often mentioned this one... looks available and may be less than $1650. It is in Coral Bay.

Edited: I just remembered about the steps... so maybe not, yet nothing like Maho.

We just stayed here.

It's basic, but has everything you could need. Marcia and John are great people and it's open for your time frame.

MINDE!
I thought you were going to be there the same week as us!?- (5/5-5/14...) :(
That stinks!
Oh well,as much as I was hoping to meet you down there, I truly hope you find suitable accommodations. We'll miss you! Was looking forward to enjoying a "dinghy day" with you & Blaine...( the nekkid part was kind of a joke, by the way..., maybe! )
Hope to meet up with you both one day!
Are those dates "locked- in?",- any chance of "wriggle room?"
Highest hopes, and always-
Smiles-
MJ

Minde I thought of one more place--have you looked into Samuel Cottages? They are on one level, close to town and not expensive. Basic, but clean. I think parafins did a trip report from there a couple of years ago.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

hey minde!

I know you can put this together girl! don't give up!

Serendip- my friend stayed here on his honeymoon and they liked it. basic, close to town, really nice owner.

I stayed at Sago Cottage in Coral Bay, affordable off season and one of the best views ever! on Calabash Boom so NEED a 4WD vehicle. Hubby and I still think this was the best place we've ever stayed. Very basic, West Indian Cottage but really romantic. No pool, No AC, didn't need either. Views to die for, very private, hottub, outdoor shower, one level.

I've stayed at Serendip condos and loved them. Spectacular views; great management. I also have some issues with stairs and was able to get a 1st floor unit. Very close to Cruz Bay.
