St. John trip report good vibes

I just read the most recent St. John trip reports here and it occurred to me again what great attitudes these folks have. Every report is filled with appreciation for the island and its people, and when things do go wrong the comments have a laid back 'what the heck' attitude. It seems like a lot of trip reports on other destinations have a lot more complaints and lists of things people didn't like. Not sure if St. John attracts a more easy going type of visitor or if St. John just brings out our easy going nature...either way it is a pleasure to see![/quote]

Trust me not all visitors are laid back - I was given the *finger* yesterday when I honked at a car that stopped mind stream to let people pile out instead of driving the 20' to the parking spot - didn't help there were 3 cars behind me along with an impatient taxi - I hope he has a miserable time or gets a sunburn (yes I have a mean streak)

Yikes, sorry to hear that Pia, there are crabby people everywhere I suppose...just wanted to pass on some positive thoughts that I still feel are true for the nice people who post their trip reports here-hey, it's the thought that counts I hope!
