Newbie update, finally!
Newbie update, finally!
Well the other couple that were interested in visiting STJ for their 30 year anniversary have committed to The Westin, during the week of 5/7-5/14!
I'm really SO excited for them!
They (well I would, anyway...) want some privacy, mixed with a definative management type of scenario for any issues, and I can't say I blame them, I guess...never stayed there, so beats me.
They'll have a Jeep rental, and are excited about what the beaches have to offer, as well as the local bars & bodegas.
I find these folks especially darling, and am so thrilled for them. They plan on (hopefully) looking into a few different villa tours/visits while they're there for future trips so's they can bring down their children next year, too.
Just one MAJOR reason that I recommended STJ to them (aside from their WAY laid-back attitude), is that they're hoping for gorgeous clean quiet beaches,- so much so that it seems like they're looking forward to doing nothing but lounging around almost to the point of being bored. AWESOME FIT.
I'm so tickled for them, truly.

Good for them Jim! Sounds like they will be a perfect fit.
We have stayed at the Westin numerous times, including our first few visits. I think they will love it. Even though they're at a hotel, it sounds like they will still get out and see the best of the island, just like we did, and fell in love with it
You're a good friend to offer them so much help. Now talk them into a TR when they get back
